ALL Mutations must be either given out in a PC Hatching, or purchased from the Site Store. I will not accept any Mutated dragons, whers, or firelizards that don't fit the above conditions. While it is rare, it is not unheard of for dragons to possess multiple mutations. Usually, it is Color, Size, or Gender mutations mixed with something else, though other combinations are possible. You must buy the store item multiple times to have more than one mutation.
Color Mutations: A Color Mutation is where the creature is a color that isn't normal for that Color. Color mutations are always something that uses the base color to inspire the mutation. IE, a Dou dragon turning silver, an Ichigo turning pink, an Aoi turning Lavender, etc. Please run all color mutations by me for approval.
Unusual Parts: The creature has some form of extra limbs or a lack of a normal limb. Examples below, though other options can be run by the admin for approval.
Double Wings: the creature was born with two sets of wings. The normal pair, and a second smaller pair near the tail. The double wings add speed and endurance at the cost of agility. There is also a second version with two wings from the same joint, similar to Dragonfly wings.
Double Tails: The creature was born with two tails. They both form out of the tail base. The double tails make the dragon more agile, but causes more resistance, making their endurance lower
Two Legs: The creature was born with only his back set of legs. His wings are slightly different to give him a small paw instead of just the thumb claw. He can use that paw to assist with walking and grabbing things. (Picture a traditional Wyvern)
Polydactyl: The creature has too many toes on its feet or wings. A minor mutation that usually has no effect on the creature.
Wingless: A creature born without wings. Firelizards handle this mutation pretty well, though dragons born without wings tend to be sick in some other way and are usually born dead in shell, or between upon hatching. ((It will be rare that this mutation will be accepted for a dragon))
Six Legs: The creature was born with a third set of legs in between the front and rear legs. It makes them surprisingly agile on the ground.
Size mutations: the creature is simply either larger or smaller than a normal being of its color. In the extreme range, so like a Midori the size of a Kin, or a Dou the size of a Ichigo. Any amount that is six feet bigger or smaller than the size range of the dragon would use this mutation. Any size that is four feet bigger or smaller than the six range of the wher uses this mutation too.
Gender mutation: Most dragon colors are gender-specific. Well, this mutation ends up with a female Aoi, or a male Kin. Can also have hermaphrodite dragons, but there is a limit on hermaphrodites who are fertile.
Chimera: A Chimera Mutation is two colors on the same dragon. But it can be any two colors regardless of gender. And the dragon/firelizard is called a combo name of the two colors, with the dominant color first. For example, a AoiMurasaki or a KinIchigo. The AoiMurasaki would be a blue base with some sort of purple accent, and the KinIchigo would be gold with red markings or accents. The size range will always be something that falls within the usual range for the primary Color. There is no other effect on the creature besides coloring.
Oversized wings - This gives a wher wings which are significantly larger than average. This may be enough to allow them to fly, or enough to give them partial lift. Dragons with this mutation gain more endurance and speed in flying
Undersized wings - this results in a dragon with wings which are perfectly formed, apart from being far to small to allow flight. These dragons are permanently grounded and often end up working with the ground crews or wherhandlers. A wher with this mutation has only vestiual wings that are nothing more than looks.
Albino: albino creatures have translucent white hide and ichor green eyes that don't change color. If they are dragons or Firelizards, they are also light sensitive. If they are a Wher, they are even more light sensitive.
Partial Albino: Partial albinos have patches of the translucent white. On partial albinos, if the eye had a white patch over it, it would be ichor colored, but if the normal color was over the eye, the eye would change color normally. If they have a green ichor eye, they are light sensitve in that eye.
Leucistic: Fully leucistic creatures are solid white, like a Shiroi, but with no colored sheen. They can have a slight tint of the orignal color. Shiroi are not able to have this mutation
Partial Leucistic: like full leucistic, except in patches. Shiroi are not able to have this mutation
Melanistic: Full Melanistic creatures are solid black, occasionally with a tint of the original color. Kuroi are not able to have this mutation
Partial Melanistic: Like full melanistic, except in patches. Kuroi are not able to have this mutation.
Genetic Throwback: Only affects Midori, Shiroi, Aoi, Chairo, Dou, and Kin. The creature is completely unlike it's fellows. Changes for each color is below:
Firelizards can be affected by this Mutation, however their throwback is even further, making them Dragonets instead of Firelizards.
Chromatic/Metallic: This mutation causes or removes the metallic sheen on a creature's hide.
Fur: The dragon or firelizard is covered in a short coat of fur. It is around the length of a short haired cat's on average and rather soft. It can be longer on occasion.
