Overall Description: Kelit stands about 5'7" and weighs only 100lbs soaking wet. She's a tiny little thing, but what she lacks in size, she makes up in her sweetness. She has flaming red hair, something that her parents aren't 100% which side of the family she got it from, but they know her striking green orbs are from her grandmother. Even though she spend a lot of time outside and before the cooking fires, she's actually pretty pale, all things considering. She doesn't seem to tan or burn, though she does turn a little pink if she gets to hot.

Overall Description: Kelit is a sweet and kind young woman. Always willing to help others, she tends to be a sympathetic ear to listen or shoulder for others to cry on. Never one to turn someone away in need, she doesn't matter what time of day it is, she and Askookth are there. On top of helping others, she is also a pretty good gardener, which has helped the Weyr since the Holds no longer tithe to them. She has helped the kitchens start their own little herb and produce garden and also aided the Healers in growing the plants that help in their craft also.

When it comes to love, Kelit is a little out there. She believes that love will come to her when it comes to her and in whatever shape it wants to. She doesn't care if her partner is male or female, Rider or Folk, or their ranking in the Weyr. She just wants that one, or multiple, person, or people, that make her happy and makes Askookth happy.

Background: Kelit's family is no longer whole. Her mother is with a new husband in another Hold, her father rotting in some street, and her siblings are scattered about the Weyrs and Holds. The only thing constant in Kelit's life is her grandmother on her mother's side. The elderly woman practically raised her, staying with her until Inadyn decided she wanted to branch out and move about the Weyrs.

From an early age, she loves working with her grandmother out in the garden near the kitchens. The older woman taught her how to prepare and work with food as soon as she was able to walk around the kitchen. Before long, she had other tasks, some out in the garden, others in the kitchen. She began learning about the healing properties about plants, but it was during her eleventh turn that her father tried to sell her to a brothel. Her mother and her grandmother got her back, and it all ended with her father being beaten by the brothel owner, who actually ran an honest business and didn't buy girls, but let them come to him whereas his manager was the more shady character, her mother leaving her father, and her grandmother taking on full control of her life.

Of course, she was given her way in life and her grandmother just sat back and helped her when she was needed. When news came that Sabishi Weyr was looking for Candidates, Kelit was Searched but instead of being kidnapped, she actually went willingly. Her reasoning, there was no reason to pass up a chance at something new in life.

At fifteen Turns, Kelit Impressed Kuroi Askookth. The little black and gray dragonet had Hatched from an egg and had been hurt, having caught his wing on a sharp piece of egg shell. Without even thinking about it, Kelit had rushed out onto the Sands and when she reached the Kuroi, he informed her that she was His and that he was Hers. After his wing healed, Askookth proved to be one tough little Kuroi. He and Kelit were constantly together, rarely leaving each other's side. The pair were made for each other. Then his female siblings began to Rise. Askookth didn't give Chase, Kelit was to young, so she thought that as it. However, the next Turn, several females Rose back to back and Askookth never gave Chase.

Not really thinking much on her Kuroi not giving Chase to the females, Kelit focused her attention on helping with the Weyr. Askookth was found to be a good Search dragon, but Kelit had a problem kidnapping potential Candidates. Either way, they took part in the kidnapping, knowing that if there were no Candidates, then the young dragons would never survive.

Many Turns later, Kelit is starting to get a little worried that her poor Kuroi will always be alone . . . well, mateless. She has started a "dating service" for her Askookth, though all it seems to do is get them lots of friends.
