The gentle movement of the lake lapped at her toes, while the Junior Weyrwoman lounged on the shore of the Lake. There bite to the water's temperature but that was to be expected when the first rays of light were just starting to break over the Weyr. Essamoryth had insisted on getting out before the day heated up and just over the Turns it had become something of a routine. Seeing as the Junior Weyrwoman had a soft spot of routines, she had simply stuck with it, no matter the weather. Dressed in a simple sitting dress, Iryasa had the dress pulled up a little, exposing her delicate feet and calves but no further up than just below her knee. She was a lady after all. The soft blue hue of the dress went well with her blond hair, which she currently had braided over her right shoulder, while she toyed with the edges of her footwear absently.
Starting the day off with daydreaming . . . Next you will be wanting to drop a meeting . . . or run wild again . . . Iryasa couldn't stop the grin that broke out over her face at Essamoryth's words. Yes, it wasn't like her to daydream. "Maybe a good run around the Weyr would be good for me," Iryasa stated, her voice holding mirth as she placed her hands on either side of her, as if to get up and start running about the Weyr. Over my cooling body! the Naga Queen bugled, alerting the Weyr that she was awake and possibly bringing down some male that thought to come to her aid. I will bring the biggest male Rider I can find and have them tote you back to the weyr if you think to do that . . . AGAIN!!! Essamoryth all but hissed at her, earning the Chimera Queen a loving smile from her Rider.
Iryasa didn't doubt her dragon would. It wouldn't be the first time she thought less of her wild activities, and for the most part Iryasa rarely ran about the Weyr like a Weyrbrat . . . but honestly, sometimes you just needed to let your hair down. Sighing, she wrapped her arms back around her legs, careful to not raise her dress any higher, and leaned her chin on her knees. Pale green orbs looked out into the Lake, where her Chimera lifebond was currently rolling in the water. "Yes . . . because rolling about like a porcine is very lady-like," she teased her dragon as she righted herself and snorted water in her general direction. Essamoryth ignored her comment and went deeper into the water, wings flaring out before folding back over her back. She watched her two flitts, Vorr and Thros, flutter about Essamoryth's head, scolding her for being in the water to long before they settled on her back to watch over her. This was her life and currently . . . it was peaceful.
