Locations?

So far that's really cool.

I'm originally from Crawfordsville, Indiana. It was very small town, but we had our little niche things like Rancho Bravo, a Mexican Restaurant, and a pizza place I dearly love called Arni's. The town was nothing to boast about a new part and an older downtown. There is also the local ice cream place Dari-Licious which is the place to go in the summer. It's about an hour southwest of the state capital Indianapolis. I went to Purdue University which was about an hour straight north of the location. Basically, Indiana is really flat and has it's little things here and there. My friends and I went all around the state checking out food places and little oddities. It's more fun in small doses than the twenty some years I lived there, but if you are a nature lover the State Parks and natural cave formations that you can take tours of are wonderful. I lived about forty minutes from a place called Turkey Run State Park that had all sorts of trails with waterfalls and going in the fall was absolutely beautiful. I have a lot of fond memories going and exploring, it gives you an appreciation for quiet nature.

I currently live in Southern California with LA an hour north and San Diego an hour south. The town I live in, isn't anything remarkable. In fact, California is only remarkable in it's great amount of cookie-cutter-ness. The perks are like being able to drive to see late night shows as they are free to get into, or go to LA and see Jeff Goldblum play jazz and rub elbows and interact very genuinely with the crowd. (I'm a huge Jurassic Park lover, so this may not be as exciting for some people, haha). However, the downfalls are how expensive everything is and the rudeness of the people. Also the place I live in has it's share of old folks and none of them can drive and I am always road raging, also freeways are lauded yet are truly terrible. What I like best is my access to delicious shredded beef tacos and an easy distance to Soup Plantation. There is a community college close by though so I occasionally pop in there for my culture injection which I miss from my college days in West Lafayette at Purdue.

Oh I also lived in London England for a year, and that was truly fabulous. London has so much to do, you'll never be bored. Rainy like everyone says, but I miss the public transportation desperately. Take the tube or a train literally almost anywhere and once you are over there, travelling is much more inexpensive so I also visited Rome which was... magical. If you ever have the chance to go to Italy it is beautiful and charming and the history is amazing and I still can't believe I walked places that Caesar himself must have. The Vatican is also beautiful, and even though I'm not the religious sort I can appreciate it historically and aesthetically.
