Lean but still a bit thicker than his brother R'kal
Overall Description: Ra'kel was not blessed as readily as his brother, he stands at only six foot two inches tall. His build is a little bulkier than his brother he is thickly built and more sturdy, he's not as lithe or thin as his brother; which now that he's grown is a big surprise given his youth. His muscles are clear to see to anyone who looks at him, this is because he takes time to exercise everyday. He dislikes scars and does all his power to prevent them unlike his brother who does his best to appear with scars. His clothes are simple and effective though he does wear the Healer colors and he also often has knots on his shoulders that are well tended.



Ra'kel's hair is a light brown color and is well groomed, slicked back and often tied up. He tries his best to appear well groomed, after all how else are you going to attract a mate. He is very sure of his appearance and he does his hair up with a purple hair tie. This is to allow his hair to be tamed and controlled unlike his brother who doesn't do much with his hair.



His eyes are a dark brown almost to the point of being black, they are evenly spaced on his face. His skin tone is a light tan and he is very much a man who can get an easy tan, he could darken his skin easily with exposure to the sun. He also has very well tended teeth and he does his best to appear like a very attractive man.

Overall Description: Ra'kel feels great sympathy and understanding for the suffering of others. He understands their pain and he does all he can to alleviate it after all that's what a Healer's for. This young man is very sure that he will be able to do things well, this young man's compassion goes so far that he can not stand to see suffering of any kind. Though this is true he is only a mind healer he does have practical knowledge of healing.



This young man is understanding, he knows that others are in pain but he can't do anything so he won't. However he also understands that a Healer needs to help people and that help sometimes will be refused even if offered. Ra'kel is often hurt when this is the case and he will do his best not to show his hurt, because he is very sure of his own confidence. He tries his best to understand people and their needs as readily as his own.



He is very gentle, he does his best to be easy with others and careful with his words delivering hard words gently. Rackeal is very much the kind of man to deliver blows easily and not be to harsh after all he is a mind healer and they need to know how to help other people. He has always been the gentler of the three siblings, never one to be harsh or overly honest.



Ra'kel has done his best to be wise and show the wisdom of his turns with his siblings, however R'kal never shows it. Ra'kel is the type of man that will always draw on his wisdom before acting or speaking, he does his best to be the one to speak wisely rather than just speaking. His wisdom even goes so far as to tell someone when he doesn't know something but that he will find out.



This young man is learned and he uses this intelligence well, he keeps himself well informed to help this. For all that Rackeal is intelligent he uses this well though he is a bit abrasive when he knows something someone else doesn't. He is also the type of man that will tell someone they're wrong and make it a point of telling them. He doesn't keep information hidden.



Ra'kel is well learned, he paid attention to all his lessons and retained as much information as possible. He's so used to using most of his knowledge he could do the job of just about any healer except maybe a surgeon. He has done his best to learn the lessons and remember them, but he is only human he may forget and he feels horrible when he does.



Ra'kel will not stop at just being a journeyman, he will gain his mastery or he will not be a healer. This young man wants to be able to help a lot of people not just a few, after all he is a mindhealer. He wants to understand the human mind and so he needs to work hard towards doing so. He will always stand by other people because he cares about them.



He is a compassionate soul though this is only while helping people heal. He does his best to help someone understand what's going on in their mind but he is limited by experience. Rackeal has learned that the best place for a mind healer is in a weyr by sheer virtue of the amount of loss and pain that dragonriders and their families suffer. It is the best place for a Mind Healer to do his work.

Background: Ra'kel was born to a twenty turn old Kinrider who died in the birth, his father vanished before anyone even knew who he was exactly. He was sent off to the healer hall to his uncle Renikal who raised the triplets, Ra'kel was the last born of the three he was also the smallest. The three of them became inseperable every time they tried the others would throw fits, it wasn't till they were at least seven turns that they had their own rooms. They also started training as healers as early as possible they all showed interest in it given all they could do as healers, besides it was job security.

At seventeen Ra'kel and his siblings became Journeyman and Ra'kel chose to specialize in Mindhealing, he wanted to understand how people worked. He went on to understand the mind better than his brother, they were all Searched by the weyr they'd been born at when they were twenty. Rackeal impressed to Chairo Coliadath and became Ra'kel, Jeanal impressed to Gin Kelkith become J'nal and Rekal finally impressed to Kohaku Trinath and took up the name R'kal. The trio went through weyrlinghood

Ra'kel has worked hard to become a Masterhealer along with maintaining his duties as a dragonrider. He is aware of his children but he isn't particularly interested in them given that he isn't into women expect during Flights. He would much rather have a permanent partner but he's begun to give up hope of ever finding that one person because it's been so many turns.

He recently in the last turn or so gained his Mastery, much to his pride and he is quite happy with that since he is a specialist and so is his brother. He has begun trying to help teach other Mindhealers.
