The sounds of a scuffle drew the attention of the drudges, finding a Ichigo-Kuroi Chimera circling around a young female. Her blonde hair was half wild and free half braided in small braids, all flowing in the wind as she slowly turned her body, keeping herself facing the hissing Chimera dragon. She watched as his wings flared out, red and black tipped wings freshly oiled and looking good, while she noticed that all the dragon's weight was on the outside, guarding so he had a backup plan.
"You're learning, Bio . . . I can see your planning one step ahead," the young female stated, stony gaze watching the dragon closely. When he flared out his wings again, she was ready when he launched himself forward and though there was no chance of her holding him back, him easily outweighing her by a long shot, she still braced to take his full weight.
What she missed was his tail, the black tipped fork snaking out and whipping behind her legs before he jerked his tail forward and taking her legs out from under her. Seryn found herself looking up at the sky, arm coming up to cover her eyes while she forced her lungs to take back in air.
Yes . . . . One step ahead of you, sweet Seryn, Biorth hissed, standing over Seryn and looking down at his Rider. He knew he had to be careful with his Rider, but she insisted on training, even though she still had a wounded leg that wasn't fully healed. He noticed that her leg was bent slightly so that there wasn't pressure on the wound and it bothered him a little, but he also saw she was already trying to get up. Not wanting her to get up just yet, Biorth put his front foot on her chest and held her down but didn't put enough pressure to crush her.
"Let me up, Biorth," Seryn grumbled, putting her hands on his foot and trying to lift it up but it was pointless.
